Plants Alive!

Dear all!!! =)

I hope you have had an enjoyable 1 week break!

I trust that the little seeds you brought home with you on 11th March (Wed) have grown into a young plant and you have recorded the height of your little plant as they grow. Ihope that none of you "drown" or "sun-bathed" your seeds/plants. =)

Just a reminder to bring your little plants and your Science Works! Workbook on Cycles to school tomorrow . Pg 5 ,6 ,7, 8 and 9 of your Science Works! Workbook would have been completed during the 1 week break. =)

It is ok if your little plant has not grown into the adult plant with flowers or with fruits yet as it will take some time for them to reach that stage - the process of knowing how to take care of your little plant is important.

Tomorrow you will be comparing the life cycles of the plants you and your team mates/group mates are in charge of, sooo..do remember to BRING your plant. =)

The pictures below shows some of the seeds I grew over this one week =) My tomato plant is growing well and am looking forward to bring it to class to show you guys! =)

Green Bean, Black Bean and Red Bean seeds all growing together!! =)

Those white little things are not maggots! haha They are the shoots of the tomato seeds!!
They have grown taller and you will see them tomorrow!! =)

Have a blessed sunday evening ahead and see all of you in school tomorrow! =)

Reminder: Seed Planting

Dear 4E,

Please be reminded to bring your container with either cotton wool or soil tomorrow so that you can plant the seeds. There is no need for you to bring along the crushed egg shells for those who are in Team 3 and Team 4.

Just in case if you have lost the piece of paper I gave out on Monday, below is a list of what Team 1, 2 3 and 4 are suppose to do.

Team 1: Grow seeds with cotton wool and normal water
Team 2: Grow seeds with cotton wool and rice water
Team 3: Grow seeds with soil, normal water and crushed egg shells as fertilizers
Team 4: Grow seeds with soil, rice water and crushed egg shells as fertilizers

*Seeds will be provided, so there is no need for you to get them.

Please do bring along your Science Works! Workbook tomorrow as well.

See you in class tomorrow! =)

Congratulations!

We would like to congratulate Ang Tsu Ran for winning the consolation prize in the Primary 4 category in the Total Defence Day Art Competition organised by Ai Tong School. Keep it up, Tsu Ran! May you win even more competitions in future!
